A Colorful Gathering of Friends
The White Mountain Decorative Painters Guild and PennsWoods Painters have joined their resources together and are sponsoring “A Colorful Gathering of Friends", a virtual painting convention. We want to take this opportunity to provide some additional information on this May 2022 Retreat. The ladies from ArtRoom2Create will be the Zoom hosts.

The retreat starts on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 6:00PM Eastern Time and ends at 10:00PM Eastern Time on Sunday May 22, 2022.
​
The virtual class catalog will be available on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, and online registration begins on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. There are no registration fees. You only pay for the classes you want to take. The plan is to record all classes and provide class participants access to the recording for 90 days. Contractual recording approval is still pending with a few teachers.

Students will register for classes on the ArtRoom2Create website, https://artroom2create.com/, under a tab labeled: “A Colorful Gathering of Friends.” This tab is not currently activated. PayPal and credit card payments will be accepted.
​
Once you successfully register for a class and are granted access to the project materials, no refunds or credits will be awarded. To avoid any frustration or dissatisfaction, please check your schedule before signing up for any classes.

The designers we have advertised on social media platforms thus far have agreed, in good faith, to teach at the May 2022 Retreat.
We can provide you with the timeslots for the classes.

Thursday, May 19th, 6:00 to 10:00PM Eastern Time.

Friday, May 20th, Saturday, May 21st, and Sunday, May 22nd:

The first class is from 10:00 to 2:00PM Eastern Time.

The second class is from 3:00PM to 7:00PM Eastern Time.

The third class is from 8:00PM to 10:00PM Eastern Time. Some may end at 11:00PM Eastern Time.

WMDPG & PWP Member Class Fees (non-members add $5.00 to class fee):

Each 4-hour class will cost $40.00 and includes access to the Zoom room, Teacher’s virtual instruction, and complete e-packet (prep instructions, supply list, line drawing, picture(s), completion instructions) and, if applicable/approved, the post-class recording link.

Each 2-hour class will cost $20.00 and includes access to the Zoom room, Teacher’s virtual instruction, and complete e-packet (prep instructions, supply list, line drawing, picture(s), completion instructions) and, if applicable/approved, the post-class recording link.

Each 3-hour class will cost $27.00 and includes access to the Zoom room, Teacher’s virtual instruction, and complete e-packet (prep instructions, supply list, line drawing, picture(s), completion instructions) and, if applicable/approved, the post-class recording link.

It is the student’s responsibility to provide a surface on their own. As a convenience, we have asked DePalma’s Custom Woodcrafts to be our preferred wood provider. They will cut the wood surface and retreat volunteers will consolidate orders and ship them out to class participants who have selected to purchase specific teacher surfaces. So, you have options: use a surface from your stash or order one, and we will consolidate your purchases to reduce shipping costs.
